Tashaun Williams and Talyn Willis of Durant High School are the February 2026 Shamrock Bank Honorees.
Tashaun Williams is three-year starter for the Lions varsity basketball team and a participant in track.

The 6’3 senior is a scoring whiz accumulating more than 700 points along with averaging 12.1 points per game throughout his career.
An inside and outside scoring threat, Tashaun stepped up his offensive output this season scoring at a more than 17 points a game clip. In addition, he has topped the 20-point mark in eleven games and poured in 31 points in games versus Pryor and Claremore.
“He’s a great player, ” DHS boys varsity basketball coach Aaron George said. “People, including myself, really like to watch him play. He will get a dunk, here and there and is a difference maker.”

Such was the case in a February game in which Tashaun had three massive dunks that brought the crowd to its feet and helped clinch a Lion victory.
Williams was a second team all-district selection in Class 5A-4 this season and has been named to several all-tournament teams including the East Central Oklahoma Classic in January. In addition, he has competed for Top Prospects Hoops (TPH) in AAU basketball and trains at C4 in Durant.
Tashaun has also made his mark in track and field earning medals in the long jump and the 100-yard hurdles. He hopes to continue his basketball at Murray State Junior College in Tishomingo with an eye toward a career as a welder.
His parents are Misty and Tyson Williams.
