Shamrock Bank is pleased to announce the selectees for the Durant High School “Impact Athlete” and “Performing Arts Student” of the month for September 2026.
Korbyn Robinson is a four-year member of the Lady Lions softball team with varsity basketball, soccer, and tennis experience.
The hard hitting senior outfielder has been one of the ringleaders of the squad that finished in a tie for second place in 5A-district 1 and earned the schools first home regional tournament since 2023. She is solid defensively and has been productive at the plate hitting .380 with five home runs and 27 runs batted in.
In addition to her heavy involvement in sports, Korbyn has played the clarinet in the Durant High School band since the sixth grade and is a five-time all-district selection.
Academically, she is a member of both the National and Oklahoma Honor Societies and has compiled a 4.0 GPA which includes college coursework. Her long-term goal is to become a pediatrician or NICU nurse.
Korbyns’ parents are Tim and Jodi Robinson. She has three siblings, Carson, Brevyn and Fynli.
Lucas Love, a senior, is a four-year member of the very successful “Pride of Durant” High School band where was named the “Outstanding Percussion Musician ” while playing in the drumline. The bands many honors include winning the Tigerpalooza marching competition this fall.
In addition, Lucas has attended the Texoma Marching Arts and Leadership Academy for three years and was selected to attend the Camp RYLA Leadership Camp sponsored by the Rotary Club.
When he is not performing for “The Pride…”, Lucas is involved in the cutting-edge E-sports craze where serves as the DHS team captain.
In the community, Love is a member of the Western Meadows Baptist Church in Durant and works in the Electronics department at the Durant Walmart.
Lucas has compiled a 3.6 grade point average in school and plans to continue his education at the University of Oklahoma or East Central University.
His parents are James and Esther Love. He has a sister, Lydia, and a brother, Levi.
